GIGU Fashion Academy

A three-language site for a fashion academy: 11 campaign landing pages, applications going straight into Bitrix24, and a daily traffic report in Telegram.

The client had their own team — a marketer, a media buyer, a salesperson and a backend developer. I joined as an outsourcer and gathered requirements from each of them separately. Research, design, frontend, the CRM and the analytics were mine. Delivered in one month. Live at giguacademy.uz.

The task

  • The academy's old site was single-language and did not match their standing — it needed a full rebuild.
  • The site had to look on par with the best training centres in the country — in a fashion academy trust starts at the first screen.
  • The brief called for a lot of photo and video — without making the page heavy: the audience comes almost entirely from phones, often on mobile data.
  • The audience reads in three languages.
  • The application form had to connect to an API prepared by the client's backend team.

What I did

  • Designed and built a three-language site, plus 11 separate campaign landing pages — each source with its own URL. The UTM tags they already used were carried over to the new site.
  • Connected the form to Bitrix24 through the backend team's API, with course, branch and age fields, so a lead reaches the sales team unedited.
  • The visual language was worked out together with the client — a designer themselves, so every choice was argued through. Cormorant Garamond for headings (a serif, atelier mood), Outfit for text (a geometric grotesque that stays clear at small sizes). Colours: deep plum-black, warm white and a single raspberry accent used only on action buttons, so “press here” is never ambiguous.
  • The layout leans on photography and video: a full-screen hero, teacher cards with years of experience and student counts, graduate results, five branch addresses. The design started at the mobile size — that is where the traffic comes from.
  • Recompressed all media and staged the loading. Even with 60+ images and video, the first screen appears immediately.
  • Wrote an in-house analytics layer: UTM sources, CTA clicks, applications and visits broken down by device, OS, country and referrer. A report goes to a Telegram bot every morning.
  • SEO: meta tags, structured data and a three-language sitemap.

Result

  • Lighthouse 90+ across every metric, 100 on some of them.
  • After compression the public folder went from 137 MB down to about 9 MB — hosting traffic dropped sharply.
  • The application form is wired straight into Bitrix24, with course, branch and age fields.
  • Every morning the marketing team gets a daily report in Telegram: visits by source, CTA clicks and applications, broken down by device and country.
  • The site takes applications for 5 branches and 2 study programmes.
